Extra-Curricular Timetable

The department believes strongly in offering a rich variety of extra – curricular activities to children of all abilities.  Currently, we provide:

Swing Band

Solo Choir

Concert Band  
Brass Ensemble

African Drumming
String Ensemble 

Flute Ensemble 

Our Swing Band is available for hire for private functions or charity events. Please see the Swing Band webpage for more information and contact details. 

 
The choir has, through the years, has become very involved with the WWF.UK education programme and is well known for its first performances and recordings of the environmental musicals of Peter Rose and Anne Conlon, such as Yanomamo, African Jigsaw and Ocean World, as well as for its involvement with  BBC Religious programmes such as Songs of Praise,  Sunday Half Hour and the Daily Service.

In 2009, the choir performed at the Royal Albert Hall, London, in the premiere performance of One Sun One World, the new musical from Peter Rose and Anne Conlon.  The Music Department performed the musical at school in June 2011.
