Welcome to History
The History Department aims to offer a lively and stimulating course of study. It's subject matter ranges from the Anglo-Saxons to present events. It provides a basis for children of all ages and abilities to learn about people and events in the past, and linking them to the present, develop their social, moral and cultural values.

Britain - 1750 to circa 1900
The Twentieth Century World
Key Stage 4
At Key Stage 4, the history department undertakes a study of the Modern World. The course explores issues such as the aftermath of WW1, the rise of the dictators in the 1930's and the causes of the second World War.
The Modern World course also explores British society in the twentieth century and American society in the 1920's and 1930's.
